The agreement entered into with the Italian Government reaffirms the Sitempro’s capacity to offer targeted and effective solutions that can be adapted to different emergency response situations, also in trouble spots.

In Libya, the wilderness region of Ghat was affected by heavy rains in May. Small streams turned into flooded rivers that overflowed and caused serious damage to the region, especially in the municipality of Tahala.

Within the framework of the Italian project named ‘A Solidarity Bridge’, various vital goods and equipment for survival and dignity of local inhabitants were provided.

In order to tackle the emergency, submergible pumps for wells were supplied. This versatile equipment can be directly installed in the fluids to pump them up and can be used for both clear and waste water.

Around 2,500 displaced persons were accommodated in prefabricated houses with prefabricated and fully equipped field kitchen and power generator to maintain energy supply and restore communication systems.

Prefabricated and modular systems can be easily and quickly installed, thus meeting the need to respond as fast as possible, especially in problem areas and challenging situations. These highly convenient systems can also be dismantled, stored and reused several times.
